The Worst Song in the World

After much deliberation and intensive research, I have officially decided that Summer Girls is the WORST song in the world. Besides the inane and ridiculous lyrics name dropping everything from Abercrombie & Fitch to William Shakespeare the beat is pretty damn awful. But the video tops it all. For some reason this song just sounds like Long Island to me. Oh and LFO stands for Lyte Funky Ones. LOVE.

But there stands a small chance that there could be an even worse song out there. What do you guys think? Obviously anything by Fannypack is fair game.

But... it's just so much FUN! Come on, "I'll steal your honey like I stole your bike" is just such poetry. He doesn't name-drop Shakespeare for nothing, you know!

But I do honestly believe there are worse songs out there. Rick Astley is probably up on that list, but maybe not because I shamelessly love "Never Gonna Give You Up". I REALLY have to think hard about this. I will get back to you.

And OMG I just Googled "worst song in the world" and THIS is on it. Page 2. WOO!

RICK ASTLEY IS A GOLDEN GOD. A MUSICAL GENIUS OF OUR TIME.

But in all seriousness this song is so bad it's gone past good and back to bad again.

hey. i will not allow the name fannypack to become synonymous with shitty! fannypack is awesome! on the other hand, anything by jason mraz seems eligible.

Soulja Boy also. That suggestion was obtained through Google.

Jason Mraz though is legit bad, not funny bad like LFO. Therefore I disqualify him from the proceedings.

Haha I was just kidding about fannypack! I love love me some fp but in all seriousness, "Hey Mami"? Kind of shitty.

alright then i nominate anything by nickelback, but i think they might be legit bad like mr. mraz and in that case i second sarah's contribution of soulja boy.

Soulja Boy's pretty legit, although I still say that lyrics like "there was a good man named paul revere/ i feel much better baby when you're near" truly cannot be beat. LFO FTW.

And YES Nickelback is extremely actually non-ironically bad. The difference between a bad movie and Glitter.

Is it just me who always thought Jason Mraz was kinda hot? That obviously doesn't change my opinion on his music. Either way, kinda hot. IMO.
I think "Summer Girls" wins as the most ironically bad song ever, considering I have wondered if they, too, were joking when they put it out (it IS comedic gold). BUT YES. NICKELBACK.
